Undergraduate

Currently, I am pursuing a Human Biology and Society BS degree at the University of California Los Angeles, but am originally from Newport Beach, CA. Beyond my academic career, I aspire to explore various clinical fields to broaden my perspective and skills. Ultimately, my career goal is to tackle healthcare inequalities and provide clinical care that makes a difference. Whether through direct patient interaction, research endeavors, or advocacy efforts, I am dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for underserved communities.

Research interests: My research interests focus on the intersection of human biology, society, and healthcare equity. I am very fascinated with pediatric brain tumor research. The devastating impact of these conditions on young lives drives my effort to contribute to advancements in understanding of this field.

Favorite food: I love spicy tuna sushi or poke!

Beverage of choice and protocol for preparation: My favorite beverage would probably be tied between an iced matcha or Spanish latte!

Favorite lab technique: I find the CRISPR technique and its broad applications across medical research extremely fascinating!

Hobbies: I love exploring different beaches, and trying out different coffee shops or restaurants. I also love to go on an occasional hike, and have also recently been getting into yoga!
